Creativity Unlimited offers After School Art Classes, Saturday Art Workshops and School Holiday Art Workshops for children in our beautiful studio by the sea.

We design programs for toddlers, school aged children and we also help high school students wishing to prepare a portfolio for further art studies. We create a friendly environment where children are supported in their originality, self-expression and imaginative discoveries. Children will experiment with a wide range of art materials and art processes, develop skills in drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking and above all have a lot of fun!

Delight in the Unexpected

Our curriculum is inspired by many features advocated by contemporary research on children and creativity, including the Reggio Emila Approach and the Harvard University based Project Zero. We place a high value on our ability to improvise and respond to children’s love and enjoyment of the unexpected. We are committed to quality and professionalism and our lessons are always given in the spirit of joy and playfulness.

Toddlers Art Exploration

Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Time: 11am-11.45am
Ages: 3yrs-4yrs

Mothers, fathers or caregivers work alongside their toddlers for this 8-week course of exciting art exploration. The class is designed to introduce children to numerous opportunities for exploration and creative experimentation. In a safe and friendly environment, we will experience the freedom of exploration, surprise and challenge as we explore different artistic mediums including; painting, clay, collage, finger painting, printing, play dough, drawing and much more. Get messy with your child and enjoy this special time together!

Young Artist

Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays

Time: 3.45pm- 4.45pm
Ages: 5yrs-9yrs

This class is for children who love art and want to explore all the different mediums including charcoal, canvas painting, constructing, printmaking, claywork and much more. Student’s will develop their drawing, painting and observational skills, working individually as well as collaboratively on many different and exciting projects.

The classes are kept small so we can support each child’s unique creativity and self-expression.

Young Artist’s Studio is a fun class designed to take student’s art making to the next level. We will learn to work with all the different mediums including charcoal, canvas painting, constructing, printmaking, and claywork in a creative and skillful way. Students will develop their drawing, painting and observational skills, working individually as well as collaboratively on many different and exciting projects.

Art Making for High School Students Portfolio Preparation

Thursdays

Time: 6.00pm –7.30pm
Ages: 13yrs-18yrs

A great opportunity for young people to extend and develop their art making skills. This class is designed to encourage students to explore and develop their ideas more fully. Using the expertise and guidance of the teachers, students will work with general and observational drawing, painting and mixed media projects. The course covers a wide range of media and subject matter in order to allow students to develop a cohesive body of work that can be used as a portfolio for further art studies.

Saturday Art Workshops

This is a playful series of workshops designed to support and enrich children’s experience of art. Children come together to create and explore, through painting, drawing, constructing, clay work, and much more. We will work with a wide variety of materials and art making techniques that will build confidence and encourage self-expression in each child’s art making process.
